ABOUT US
FOBCD is a local, boots on the ground, non-profit, designed to support homeless dogs in the Baltimore County shelter. Many of the board members are hard-working volunteers for the Baltimore County shelter who have been active for years. Our goal is to improve the experience for the homeless dog while at the shelter. We work to: meet enrichment needs, supply treats for training, provide comfort such as blankets, beds, and toys, give social time to play and sniff, advocate for new programs. We provide collars and leashes so the dogs go home safely. FOBCD has also raised funds for medical care for certain dogs needing to go to rescue.
